Shipping Scheduler

NCC is essential and growing. We are hiring a Shipping Scheduler.

The Shipping Scheduler coordinates all internal shipping and some external communication for the company.  They perform administrative work for the shipping department.

Requirements:

• High school or GED
• 3+ years in traffic coordination
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Must have have strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Must be able to work 10 a.m. to 6:30 and overtime as needed

Job Responsibilities:

• Schedules all LTL and truckload carriers daily
• Confirms product availability and reschedules when necessary
• Creates purchase orders for inbound and outbound freight
• Plans sock locations through dock scheduler for the next day's shipments
• Determines footage on customer routed freight for sales orders
• Works within IQMS dashboard to ensure data accuracy
• Tracks warranty shipments due to shipping errors, quality issues and loading errors
