Shipping Scanner

Description:      
The Shipping Scanner is responsible for the daily scanning functions of the Shipping department. Associate owns all processes for an order to be shipped Safely, Accurately and on time. Demonstrate strong work ethic to achieve daily scanning goals. Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment, area, and paperwork.  Associate will help out in other areas, as needed. Maintain a safe work environment in department for compliance with OSHA, company and other necessary rules and regulations.

Requirements:

• Strong ERP system knowledge

• Ability to follow current and new processes.

• Strong desire to guarantee customers receive their orders correctly and in excellent condition.

• Working knowledge of products.

• Ability to work extended hours before and after shift is required. Must adhere to company regulations and follow Code of Conduct.

• Ability to identify problems and communicate those problems to supervision.

• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.Daily Job Functions:   Using the scanner you will need to fill Pick Tickets, convert to Packing Slip, print all required labels, confirm order is complete, quality control, follow labeling processes and any other tasks that should arise.Essential for job function requires the ability to:

• Lift up to 60 pounds

• Stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks

• Stoop, twist, bend and work overhead

• Demonstrate manual dexterity

• Tolerate extremes in temperature

• Perform visual inspections
