National Cart Company is expanding at our new location in Wilkes-Barre with a Production Lead.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• 2+ years working in a manufacturing environment. 
• Must be knowledgeable on how manufacturing flows from purchase order to shipping of products.
• 2+ years in a leadership role.
• 1+ years shipping and receiving experience.
• Requires knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Must have strong organization skills and be able to prioritize in a fast paced environment.
• Must be a working leader and be motivated to be meet goals and objectives.
• Must be able to work before/after shift as needed.

Job Duties:

• Assigns Associates to work areas and communicates expectations.
• Works all jobs in departments as needed.
• Conducts associate training and cross-training.
• Implements 5S and maintains the program.
• Identifies and communicates issues and obstacles to Plant Manager.
• Interprets and reads blue prints.
• Confirms paperwork is 100% complete, accurate, legible, and returned to appropriate area upon completion.
• Inventories all items associated with department (i.e. raw materials, consumable items, etc.)
• Performs other duties as assigned.
