Plant Engineer/Operations Engineer

To thrive in this role you must have:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering and/or related work experience.
• Experience with 3D software required (SOLIDWORKS experience would be great!)
• Solid knowledge of MRP systems

What you will do:

• Review design products utilizing SolidWorks 3D & 2D CAD, FMEA, GD&T, and Tolerance Stack Up Analysis for manufacturing capabilities
• Design and build safety, quality, and productivity into fixtures to ensure cost-effective manufacturing and customer satisfaction
• Specify Critical to Quality (CTQ) criteria so that plant assembly can reproduce product effectively and efficiently
• Confirm bill of material (BOM) for new products with accurate component part numbers and quantities
• Prove product performance by designing equipment and/or conducting verification testing
• Own the design of robotic cells and implementation of identified robots, fixtures, and programs to deliver proper quality and placement of welds
• Create any required documentation to support the production process including drawings, work instructions, check lists, etc.
