Mechanical Design Engineer

Everyday you will:

• Develops and improves custom material handling and order fulfillment projects for fortune 100 companies.
• Champions assigned products through new product development process.
• Communicates with internal and external customers to determine product requirements and needs.
• Selects and tests materials and/or components for finished products.
• Builds safety, quality, and productivity into product designs and fixtures to ensure cost-effective manufacturing and custom satisfactions.
• Develops new products cost summaries using bill of material data, standard cost data, and time observation analysis when necessary.
• Ensures completion of all necessary administrative items within the engineering change notice (ECN) process.

To thrive in this environment you must:

• Bachelor's degree is preferred however work experience in related field my be substitued.
• 3 year's related business experience.
• Advanced skills in SolidWorks or equivalent design software.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Must be positive, stress-tolerant, and be able to prioritize multiple projects.
