First Shift Aluminum Production Supervisor

Summary Description:         

Manages the Aluminum Department. May have one or more leads reporting to this position, and may also serve directly as an area lead.  The Aluminum Supervisor operates in a team environment and fosters the 'Safer-Better-Faster' culture.  Fosters a well-trained and motivated workforce. Earnestly adheres to and upholds plant policies and procedures for National Cart Co. Implements programs within department to support HR, environmental, health, safety, quality, lean, and preventative maintenance initiatives.

Requirements & Qualifications: 

• 2+ years' experience in leadership/ supervisory roles. Strong interpersonal skills.
• 2+ years' experience with aluminum welding and quality control processes
• Able to effectively utilize the business system (Open Systems Accounting Software) for production orders, Bill of Material and inventory transactions.
• Must adhere to company regulations and follow Code of Conduct. Must provide positive leadership and support the company's goals through the efficient use of personnel.
• Outstanding attendance, working extended hours before and after shift as required.

• Lift up to 60 pounds
• Stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks
• Stoop, twist, bend and work overhead
• Demonstrate manual dexterity

• Perform visual inspections
