Customer Service Representative

NCC is currently adding to our Customer Service team!

The Customer Service Representative is responsible for customer and sales support at NCC.  The Customer Service Representative works directly with Regional Account Managers and customers to ensure timely delivery of product, resolution to issues that arise and consistent customer care.

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • A high school degree or equivalent is required.  A college degree in sales and marketing is preferred.
  • Must be able to easily build customer rapport and understand customer needs.
  • Should have excellent phone and interpersonal skills.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills are required.
  • Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office are a must.
  • Must be available for some travel (less than 10%) to meet with high profile customers.
  • Ethical conduct with customer interaction is a must.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills are essential.

 Principle Responsibilities: 

  • Cooperates with Regional Account Managers to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
  • Supports customer retention and growth efforts.
  • Supports Regional Account Manager objectives by communicating customer information and customer service standards, resolves problems and identifies trends.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by working with VP of Sales and Regional Account Managers; builds and maintains rapport with key customers and identifies new customer opportunities
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reads professional publications, maintains personal network; and shares new ideas with team.
  • Handles cancellations or changes in sales orders and communicates the changes with the related departments
  • Enters Sales orders.
  • Coordinates status on orders from plant departments in ensuring the delivery commitment to customers is met.
  • Maintains customer reporting activities..
  • Creates and delivers qualified leads to Regional Account Managers.
  • Builds quotes and write orders.

  • Sit for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks
  • Stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks
  • Stoop, twist, bend and work overhead as necessary
  • Demonstrate manual dexterity
  • Operate computer extensively on a daily basis
