Custodian

Description: Sustain the cleanliness of the plant, outside grounds and office areas in a professional manner.

Requirements: 3 5 years previous janitorial experience preferred.

• Setup and operate cleaning equipment.
• Follow cleaning & maintenance schedules and complete required tasks for office, plant, and grounds.
• Clean the following but not limited to: floors, windows, fixtures, stairs, restrooms, break rooms and doors.
• Independently use the equipment available to complete the job functions required.
• Assist with setups and teardowns of furnishings when necessary.
• Preventative maintenance of cleaning equipment and hand tools to maintain them in good working order.
• Perform routine maintenance duties such as changing light bulbs, wax floors, and cleaning furniture.
• Use, maintain and properly dispose of all cleaning products and supplies used.
• Keeps both plant and office clean, safe and organized
• Performs special projects as assigned by Maintenance Manager or Plant Manager.
• Performs all above duties with some supervision, in a timely manner.
• Has aptitude to productively lead temporary associates.
• Makes suggestions to save time or cost
• Capability to handle special projects, as assigned.
• Has ability to perform all above duties with very little or no supervision, in a timely manner.
• Is self-motivated in all above areas and beyond.
