The Sales Product Manager is responsible for sales at NCC.  The Sales Product Manager will maintain and expand customer base and grow existing business to meet company goals.  They will seek new market opportunities and secure market intelligence.

Requirements & Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of two years' experience in sales and account management.
  • Logistics industry experience.
  • Project management and collaborative experience to see product from presentation to delivery.
  • Ethical conduct with customer interaction a must.
  • 20-30% travel required.
  • Professional image.

 Principle Accountabilities: 

 

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information; preparing and completing action plans; reporting and implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends.
  •  Establishes sales objectives by creating a Territory Plan and Sales Pipeline for regions in support of company objectives.
  • Maintains and expands customer base by working with VP of Sales; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new market segments and surveying customer needs.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal network; and sharing new ideas with your team.

 

 Sales Activities: 

 

  • Farming Account retention.
  • Farming with benefits- Growing current accounts.
  • Hunting - Developing new accounts.
  • Introducing new opportunities in both new markets and with new products.

Must be able to meet these requirements with or without reasonable accommodations.

Essential for job function requires the ability to:

 

  • Sit for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks.
  • Stand for a minimum of 8 hours with limited breaks.
  • Stoop, twist, bend and work overhead as necessary.
