Summary Description:   Responsible for sales at NCC. Account Executive will maintain and expand customer base to meet company goals.  They will seek new market opportunities and secure market intelligence.


Requirements & Qualifications:


  • Established history in sales and account management a plus
  • Experience and focus in Distribution and Logistics sales a plus
  • Experience in manufacturing operations a plus
  • Technical and Mechanical Aptitude required
  • Professional image
  • Superior written and oral communication skills
  • Some sales training preferred
  • Ethical conduct with customer interaction a must
  • 20-30 percent annual travel required

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Achieves regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information; preparing and completing action plans; reporting and communicating production, quality, and customer service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends
  • Establishes sales objectives by creating a Territory Plan and Sales Pipeline for regions in support of company objectives
  • Maintains and expands customer base by working with VP of Sales; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities
  • Recommends product lines by identifying new market segments and surveying customer needs
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal network; and sharing new ideas with your team

  • Farming Account retention
  • Farming with benefits- Growing current accounts
  • Hunting - Developing new accounts
  • Introducing new opportunities in both new markets and with new products
